Perhaps some length of the tail went into the neck instead. The screens and Video of the Au Ra shows a much shorter tail than the artwork. I want a slider that lets me make a long tail instead of a stump.

As for the necks, I don't know.. for some reason it doesn't bother me as bad as it did on the Elezen. Maybe it's because of the bigger muscles, or because I like dragons with long necks. >_>;

This entire thing is subjective. Chances are, knowing square, it was done 100% on purpose and your opinion won't change anything. May as well learn to live with it.

You misunderstand. I've presented an observation, and posed a question to the community to see if others have made the same observation (and clearly, they have). I have stressed that this is a minor point, and that i actually like the Au Ra, although I'd like them more without those gawky long necks.

I am rather puzzled as to why a mere observation and a question to the community has caused you such butthurt, but that's really not my problem. This is intended to be a good natured discussion, and the majority of the contributors have posted in that spirit, so really, there's no need or place or appreciation for the tone you've elected to use.But thank you for your contribution, all the same.

I am hoping we get some sliders on the tails, too. I love my Miqo'te's short and thin tail.

Also, most of the races have muscle sliders, and we don't know if Au Ra do, and, if so, how ripped the max setting is verses the teasers we have.

judging by the angle of the in game example of the au ra the angle is a low down facing up meaning to give the au ra a more powerful and mysterious look, but this angel tends to make people look top heavy with either to long legs or neck, so what i am guessing to be a long neck here is just a trick form the still image, the side on and shots they showed with the camera head length to even above showed a more natural neck, the artwork itself shows a strong neck with wider muscles but thats about it.

And that's why I won't play that race the same way I wouldn't want to play Elezen: They just look like giant sticks. Their proportions feel worse than Night Elves in WoW lol
