You can definitely set your subscription to be reoccurring, by choosing your payment option on the Mogstation as a credit card or debit card, and then selecting the billing period of 30, 60 or 90 days. Time cards only give as much subscription as the length of time listed on the card, and can't be set up for reoccurring subscription. I'm not sure if you can set your subscription through PSN though, as FFXIV is administered by Square Enix and not Sony.
