SMN Egi: A Bonsai Analogy Taken too far

So somewhere I read most Bonsai were just some normal tree that was mutilated repeatedly to keep it small and pathetic for its entire life. I saw some bonsai with tiny apples devoid of nutrition and it made me sad.

that's what the Egi story line is. You have this awesome supernatural being that you can fight, or "summon", but only bad guys/possessed lunatics get the fully grown versions. The cute/cuddly obedient slave version is the one the storyline gives a thumbs up to.

People talk about how game breaking it might be to have actual summons, but that's bologna. When you get to the point where bad guys have 100,000+ hp, where Flare barely flickers the life bar...where level 3 limit break only works if the creature is already 95%+ dead, no, I call BS, summons are no longer over powered. A Summons doesn't fit the dps rubric, it fits the limit break mechanics. It should be slow to cast, expensive to manifest, and glorious.

Keep your sickly bonsai, I want my Sequoia.

It will never end until Se make real models and how they do damage. In the past SE has stated they won't change the models and make it to difficult to control pets
