The Unending Journey is missing so many cutscenes!

I agree with the crowd that's bummed at this. Got through the Amalja quests and finally defrosted Loonh Gah enough to where she took off her make. She had a pretty smile, but I was too slow on the screenshot button

Not having every single cutscene re-watchable adds impermanence and significance to experiences. If it was all watchable at anytime there would be no reason to watch any cutscene the first time. The whole point of seasonal, living world, etc is impermanence.

But, what about players who accidentally skipped or had to skip? What about those of us who Fantasia'd?

I know this thread is old and i've read through the whole thing and understand the current reason behind it. But I really wish that it was possible to go back and re-watch the wedding scenes. My husband is no longer around and I can't afford more then one sub just to get his character for a single day to experience it. And it would help a lot to be able to go back to those memories. I dont need to see all the people who came to it, just our characters....

The problem is that the cutscenes insert your characters "here and now", and the game doesn't store information about what you looked like at the time.

During the wedding ceremony, as I understand it, you're in a party with your partner. You also choose the decorations and other elements. All that information would be stored temporarily just for the event and shown in the live cutscene.

If you then tried to go back and rewatch it on your own... none of that information is there any more. You were marrying who? The church looked like what?

Either you'd be alone in an undecorated hall, or even worse, it might show you marrying anyone you're currently partied with!
