Unfortunately, this game focuses on repetition of timed mindless tasks/instances.

Some other MMOs (especially older ones) were more socially focused. That meant that you had to spend time and effort finding a group... but most actual play was very social and server communities were pretty strong. Everquest was like that.

The trend of impatience and lack of time has reduced most games nowadays to an anonymous instance grind. That does have a direct effect on the social experience of the games
