Can someone give me an in-depth explanation why Summoner is arguably the worst DPS?

That's got nothing to do with maintaining dps. Some classes has better burst, but it doesnt mean they should never drop on dps from start to 4minute mark. I doubt many monks hit that high on their burst but they have more sustained dps, while SMN, if played correctly has really big burst.

None of the bards are whining how they do +700 on burst and fall down to 400-500 in the end.

Also point wasnt that, if Monk has to do earthshaker in T13, theres nothing he can do while in ranged. Cover helps but thats not up every time and those strats with running back and forth are a bit riskier when theres 6 ES pools.

Gee, a lot of BRDS doing 400-500 DPS and not crying, I wonder why. Maybe it has something to do that BRD are almost imperative for Paoen alone and is an amzing support class. I think that might have something to do with it. If you're going to make stupid illogical comparisons, you might as well stop. What Akiza says is true. The initial burst is high on Summoner but usually, after the 4-5 minute mark is drops, and it drops to a pretty low feet in comparison to other DPS but BRD. I don't know why this is an argument anymore. It's crystal clear now that Summoner gets outdamaged by every DPS class but BRD (with good reason), does not bring any real useful utility and therefore it needs to be receiving fixes. I don't know why this threat is going on and on.

Not sure if people are trolling or what. No class keeps up the burst dps. Bard was just "extreme" example since its dps drops so much.Blm's dps drops after int pot + RS cd's are gone. Ninja same thing, drg same thing, any class, same thing. Might as well stop reading this or I might get braincancer from all the stupidity.
