    FLAG System

It would be nice if we could click on a flag button on whisper that is a instant report as a automated system. lets say when you get spammed by a gil spammer, you click flag. and its instantly reported with out having to fill out a form or statement. it logs into the database saying what the message was with keywords that should be filtured out like website links www. and HTTP:

Normally I would not worry about this but now its a re-occurring issue. and reporting i am only suggested with adding the spammer to blacklist and report on the next issue. but the issue has not stopped and my blacklist is 200/200 players because of it and none of those players are (deleted) meaning other people have also stopped reporting. So a flag system will be nice!

    Thank you for reading this.

Unfortunately, there are two possible issues with this which make both redundant and toothless if they were actually implemented - a one touch 'bot/spam report' system sadly has potential for abuse by spiteful players out to harrass others - thus meaning GMs and the STF would have to waste half their time following up false positives, and therefore distracting them from dealing with real botters and RMT.

The second problem is filtering certain words or phrases in tells doesn't work either, as the botters/RMT soon find creative ways of getting around such restrictions (SE actually implemented this in FFXI many years ago - it worked for a week, then the spam started again because the RMT were substituting certain letters in website addresses such as the number 3 replacing the letter e.). The sad fact is, there is no quick and easy fix to this - RMT and botting will always be a problem as they'll always find ways around SE's attempts to stop them.
