    Syngery "fix" for full screen / dual monitor

    This won't work for anyone that has just one computer. However, its great for anyone with multiple desktops / latops, etc. WITHOUT using a windower or any FF14 mods (which are against the terms of service) you can get "dual screen" to work without direct X crashes. Details here in the tech support forum.

    Isn't there adapters that combine multiple monitors and fake a bigger resolution? Think matrox sells them... for like 300 bucks

    Yes there are. Anywhere from 300-500 for a working one, upwards of 1000 for a really high quality one. However, Synergy is open source / GPL and therefor free. I've been monitoring the network activity and memory allocations etc., it has an extremely low footprint all around. So far, I'm very impressed with it. There are a few bugs still but I keep fiddling with various settings on the clients and servers and having less and less of an issue of it. I'm particularly interested in setting up my tablet as the server and seeing how well it works as an input device for my desktop. Could be epic.
