    Wow, I've heard this line before too many times. No one is to be blamed for being a victim. You are right that you should be careful with your personal information, but a victim, even when they do something that might put them in danger, is still a victim. An upstanding member of society wouldn't take advantage of having access to knowledge, just as I don't take advantage of the thousands of social security card numbers, driver's licenses, and criminal histories that I handle.

    The fact is, the GMs aren't responsible for what happens outside of their game and any system out of their control. Facebook is not under the control of SE, and thus Facebook is generally contacted by police departments like the one I work for (generally by a sergeant investigator with a warrant for information) to handle things like this. So yeah, the GMs aren't going to have any power to protect her when this has already progressed to other forms and avenues of cyber stalking and harassment. That's where we (police departments) come in.
