    Scholar pet stance: steady

As a scholar, your fairy (Eos or Selene) in "steady" stance will still use "embrace" as if she was in "obey" stance (I think it's whenever an ally at range gets under 80% of his life).

I think the fairy should not cast anything on her own when you choose "steady".
"obey" mode works fine when you want her to use only embrace.

just stating. "steady" stance does not work with fairies: they keep on using their first skill (embrace) automatically.

But maybe I'm wrong about how "steady" should work, so if any player have informations about this, i'd be really glad to hear it.

To be honest, as someone who has been playing SCH for a long while now, I've never had any reason to take them off of auto; they seem to handle themselves just fine. I think I've only taken them off auto when I needed Eos to heal someone that was not in party (like during quests). Nowadays during raids I am using Selene on auto and CS for DPS anyways.

That being said, I would be interested to hear as well how Steady should work, and any pros/cons to manually controlling your pet. Do SMN's manually control their pets as well?

Also leaving your Eos on auto of all pets is ridiculous. Nothing helps better than timed Fey Covants and a properly executed Rouse+Fey Illumination+Whispering Dawn with 612 MND easily equating to a 700-800 (with crit) HoT. Also Rouse x Whispering Dawn Off One Min GcD should be on every SCH's rotation I don't think one should come out without the other tbh even while solo healing a tank just because the party doesnt need the HoT your tank getting a 1300-1400 physick a 1000-1200 embrace *pending crit on top of a minimum 350-500 HoT also pending crit <-- Very valuable as a SCH kinda makes cure II seem like a joke (lol jk Cure II crits upwards in the 4k-5k range) but still for a SCH to add 2500+ heals on top of WHM healing and benefits---->>>>>OP combo

I like to micro-manage my faeries very much and I hate when I use a skill (specially selene "silence" spell) and she doesn't respond immediately because she's already casting embrace on someone I didn't wish her to heal (a dps who already has a HOT for exemple).
Anyway, this is not a post about how we like to play our job, it's just a bug report about a stance called "steady" wich does not work as I think it was intended to.

It's the same for SMN: in "steady" stance your pet should not attack until you order it to do so.
For scholars: the heal may go "auto" as soon as you use any pet-action once... I personnaly think steady should be a "passive" mode in wich the pet doesn't do anything on its own.
The problem is that at the moment, the pet use embrace in "steady" mode even if you didn't use any pet-action before.
