Yet another mystery in the whacky design world that is SE. Whoever thought that having items be destroyed upon pick-up once placed was a good idea needs a very stern talking-to.
This is ridiculous. "Preserve the rarity" - good lord, it's a housing item. Your housing system is restrictive enough; the least you can do is let people play around in it as they please.In order to preserve the rarity of the materials and furnishings, we've implemented a system that will destroy certain housing items when they are removed. However, as we have been receiving an increasing number of comments asking us to ease up on this so that player's can move furnishings and swap patterns out more easily, we will look into whether or not we can do this for rare furniture.
