Clearly plate armor isn't required for sucking up DMG (Even the game has tank gear that looks like cloth ... so the immersion meter makes no sense as said before).
Agreed 100%. Though I guess the thought has always been that because someone practiced and studied magic all their life, their stamina and constitution is quite poor, so armor would be more of a hindrance than a benefit. But this is a game(of fantasy). if I wanna wear armor, give me armor D:

I'm still personally of the opinion that dye and glamour restrictions(with the exception of weapons for obvious reasons) should be lifted. It only takes targeting the person and paying attention to what weapon is whipped out to know what class they are.
