Trying to set up a free trial account on the ps4 for my husband... Can someone help?

I have been playing FFXIV on the PC since launch. My husband now wants to try and I am having issues accessing the "demo" that I downloaded for him off the PSN store. It keeps telling me that he needs to purchase it to play. Can someone walk me through this please? I made a SE account for him but they want a redemption code, and when we purchased the "demo" the emailed receipt didn't come with anything. I am so confused...

Which region PSN store did you download the free trial from? If its from the NA store, you have to launch the game within your US PSN account. I had the same problem when i tried to launch the game using my PSN Asia account, where it asked me to key in a code.

You just have to switch back to the profile/account(US/JP/Asia/EU PSN?) that you originally downloaded the free trial from.

It should all be US because I don't even know how to change all that. It all installed on his account but there is a lock on it and it will direct us right to the PSN Store to buy the full game.

Nevermind for those who are looking for the solution to the lock on their ps4 free trial demo, after talking to a psn rep all you have to do is restore your licenses for the games in your settings. After we did that the lock disappeared and I was able to access the demo. Everything is working fine now.
