Requirements to obtain Fat Cat?

I don't know if anyone knows or if they would even like to share, but are there any requirements to obtain the Fat Cat minion besides the stats needed to be able to send the retainer on the venture needed?

First of all I'm not sure if you get it from Waterside Exploration XIV or XV. I've heard both seem possible, so I do both. Do you think one of them is better than the other? If you HAVE obtained a Fat Cat, do you have higher stats than "needed" or something?

I am starting to get sad, so just asking. Sent him on a venture every day since it was possible to obtain the cat and nothing.. where is my overweight kitty? ; ;

From what ive hear its Waterside Exploration XIV and you need to be fully melded with supra. This is just what ive read, maybe someone can confirm. Goodluck!

It's the exploration option with 308 gathering so I believe it is XIV. You just need 308 gathering, pray to your RNG deity of choice and then hope you get lucky.

I've gotten one from XIV, and I had my full fisher gear on my retainer (Not Forager's) + fisher's supra. it was all fully melded for fisher (No GP) + the fishing jewelry for that DoW jewelry where you get 1 extra gathering & perception. Haven't gotten a second one from XIV so I'm trying XV... gotten a lot of Megalodon lol (yay desynth)

I sold my first one cause I wanted the gil... but i'm sad I haven't gotten a second ; ;

I've been doing XV every day since about five days after 2.4 came out and still haven't gotten one.

Did a bunch of XIV with no luck, swapped to XV after getting supra for me and handing off forager's to retainer....still no luck. If it's like the littlefoot for botanist, it can come from either one, no supra required.

Just need to meet min gathering req for venture, doesn't matter how you get it or what specific gear is. Pure rng after that.

Can come from both XIV and XV - I have received one from each - just give your retainer gear to meet the requirements for them - I would assume XV has a slightly higher chance than XIV but can't confirm that.

it is about RNG, a friend of mine got his fat cat recently and he had farm for that cat since start of 2.4

No. It is a random reward from Waterside exploration XIV/XV. I got mine from XIV, it is RANDOM and RARE. I got mine during the Starlight festival .
