Patch trailers ALWAYS come 2 weeks before the patch so I would expect to see it next week.

Judging by your post though you haven't actually seen any of the trailers we've already had for 2.5.

This just means we're one step closer towards the Gold Saucer and Triple Triad being in the game.

It is most likely due to 2.5 Main Scenario being split into a 2 part update.

We are only getting the first half of 2.5 Main Scenario on Jan 20th and the second half of the Main Scenario in Battle of Ishgard.

I'm actually surprised and slightly sad that it isn't sooner. Reason being is, now correct me if I'm wrong, but either after London FF or Las Vegas FF it was said that the Odin fight would be released for all to enjoy pretty much right after Tokyo FF concluded. Watching the most recent live letter, what I assume to be the Odin fight was lumped in with the 2.5 material as Urth's Fount? I am a patient person, but I was really looking forward to something to do over the holidays.
