Why is Yoshi-P so loved for a head dev?

I remember before the recent buffs to dragoon, I think it was a live letter where they were discussing balancing the classes and what they were intending to do to strengthen dragoon.

He stated that Dragoons just couldn't take attacks that other classes could, and that they would die once or even twice to attacks that would not kill other classes.

At that time a lot of people laughed. A lot of people would have laughed as well and said something like 'i know right? loldrg hahaha...'

Yoshi stopped for a moment and said: 'thats not funny to me. I'm not laughing at that.'

That's just one example that sticks out to me, being a dragoon main, but there are many, many more.

He makes himself very visible (It's hard to love what isn't visible. Most devs don't put themselves out there all that much) and he has a catchphrase. "Please look forward to it!"

He interacts with us (live letters), he actually listens (girl asks where is spriggan hat, it'll get implemented, and it's now in the game!), he plays the game himself and just seems like a genuine nice guy. I look forward to his live letters because I just love watching him, hearing his answers to questions and his plans for all of us. I admit I haven't really played an MMO before as much I have this, and this is the first MMO where I have been so involved in the community, so that probably helps a bit too.

When he dose things like wearing a batman T-shirt to hint about the DRK job then a 007 T-shirt things like that are funny and when I saw him at Fanfest he interacted with the crowd so well.
