I've only left one run, where the tank mass pulled in halatali normal with two monks. The aoe dps was pitiful, and when I asked the tank to pull smaller so I could dps on sch and speed things up significantly, the tank ignored me and one monk bragged of his sick damage. I probably would have stuck it out, but was so baffled and annoyed at this monk that I dropped. Didn't make me feel much better, so I doubt I'll be doing it much in the future.
I eat the 30 min. Penalty anytime I got Dragon's Neck in Roullette. This non-fight is not worth my time or the tomes to do. "It should be removed from the Roullette system and the game" My opinion

I've come close to saying screw it, but never have. I'm the white mage, the worse that happens is a DPS leaves and they're just a dime a dozen..another pops in right away. Most of my issues have been with the guy in FCoB gear who ends up running it like a mad man and brings just death to themselves. Not so much new players, but the new players either listen to what needs to be done and we live or they don't listen, die a ton and rage quit..then are replaced with someone else and we finish.

My "rage" quits are more like "I need to go cry now" quits. I'm a pretty sensitive person in real life, but in game I can usually just ignore things people say to me. But there have been a couple times where I have felt truly harassed, teased, hurt. Even once told to kill myself. All of these incidents happened to me before I was level 50, and when I see it happening to someone else, I call the person out and refuse to listen. I will leave a dungeon and take a penalty rather than hear/see that kind of talk. You never know what someone is going through in their lives or how the things you say will affect them. I will report for harassment and blacklist as necessary. Thankfully, I haven't had to do this in months.

I had a situation yesterday trying to do Expert Roulette. Ended up getting Sastasha HM as my DRG. We had WAR, WHM, and BLM and all greeted each other with hello's and such. I'm thinking this is gonna be great. First set of trash mobs, we wipe completely. WHM never healed. WHM then starts talking to the BLM in German. Then they say in /party that they don't speak English and I barely make out that this is their first time in Sas HM. The WAR and I both queued for English. So I opened Google translate and attempted to ask questions. 15 minutes later, we're still at start, no mobs dead, and the mages say they purposely queued in English. WAR is obviously angry, because he can't communicate with his healer on a healer intense dung. I swallow my pride and eat the penalty, which the WAR thanked me for.
I don't mind teaching new dungs. I don't mind foreign players. I have extreme difficulty combining the two.

I don't remember the details, but it was a Brayflox HM where the blm said something so rude and offensive that I left after the 2nd boss.

I have never ragequite before, but I have been tempted. I just reminded myself that I was once a really crappy tank too. Bad enough where I used to think Brayfox was the hardest dungeon out there (I didn't know about Qarn, and Cutters Cry I only unlocked the story dungeons until I was 47ish)
But yeah I have never rage quit, I just either know it's going to be slow as hell, or they take my advice and it goes slightly faster.

I am a winner, even though I sometimes fail.

There's only been one I can remember, and it was a Stone Vigil (normal) run with a tank who was literally incapable of tanking. Gear twenty levels below the dungeon, didn't have Paladin, couldn't keep aggro at all (and let me tell you, Stone Vigil Normal mobs eat your healer fast).
Four wipes before the first boss, and it was a unanimous ragequit from the remaining three of us.

Back in 2.0, I ragequit in AK on a WAR who called me out on being a bad healer when him and his DRG friend didn't know how to dodge AoEs and making bad judgement calls on Demon Wall about burning Demon Wall when we hardly had the DPS to do so. WAR didn't know how to manage his wrath stacks or cool downs properly and his DRG buddy kept getting one shotted by Dullahan cleaves. Eventually WARs equipment breaks when we get to final boss and he calls me a bad healer for being unable to cure through their stupidity.
In the immortal words of Ron White:
That's the only time I can recall actually rage quitting on anyone in this game.
