    I would healing to be more like DCUO Nature Healing!

    There, I said it!

    Just to explain. Nature healer since DCUO (when I last played like 2 years ago) had multiple abilities that produces "Spore" effects, which essentially caused healing over time. The more stacks of Spores, the more healing over time the entire party would receive.

    Anytime a nature healer wanted to cure a person, it would consume those spores, and based off the number of stacks, would get a potency bonus based off that.

    So what I'd like, and who knows, maybe Astrologian is like this, is a healer that focuses on healing over time effects, and has a single target heal that consumed healing over time effects for a big heal. (But I kinda doubt it)

    Though another thing I liked was that in DCUO, you attacked the mob doing combos and contributed to damage seemlessly while healing. Part of this was that your single target heals auto-targeted the person with the lowest % health. You never had to worry about targeting someone, cause the game did it, so you could keep attacking the boss full time.

    Anyhow, was alot of fun to heal that way. You never did as much damage as DPS or tanks or support jobs, but you definately helped.

    I don't think it'd work for this game because of the AOE spam from enemies, especially in the late game content. Even if it wasn't an issue, it'd make healing extremely boring.

    I'd like to have something unique for once. I actually hope Astrologian is not like that. Just my opinion, as you have yours.

    I can see how that would be an intriguing way to heal. I'm not a fan of the auto target someone with the lowest % HP though. I also wonder how that would work between pulls. Leaving a HOT up all time time is a great way for healers to die. And if you have to build your stacks up from 0 every pull that would make it difficult to respond in high damage situations. However I'm sure there are ways around that and I think it's worth at least looking in to.

    Yeah, I play this game because it is NOT, those other games.... and people want it to be like them...

    well i mean.. most of the existing classes kind of have some analogue in another MMO, nature of the business really.

    Hopefully in the future we'll get to see some of the more weird ones games have dared to explore.


    Edit: and i don't mean something like "both games have a tank" i mean both games have a class with the same role,play style and even a very similar rotation.
