Why does SCH do more AoE DPS than SMN?

SCH AoE Advantages:

-Way more MP than SMN
-Shadow Flare, Miasma 2, Miasma, Bio, and Bio 2 all do slightly more damage through Cleric Stance than a similar geared SMN
-Has a fourth single target DoT, though it cannot be Baned can be manually spread for more AoE damage.

SMN AoE Advantages:
-Can do large AoE once every 5 minutes
-Can contagion the first set of dots?

I would say you example SCH do more dmg because your example SMN don't use pets

As with both classes, proper pet usage, macro usage, and skill combinations make all the difference.

For instance, on scholar, make transitions between dps phases and healing phases easier using target of target macros, so you never have to switch from your tank. In your DPS macros include your fairy's Embrace on your main target, so that she will focus on keeping your tank up while you DOT the enemy your tank is targeting for the Bane. Before you begin your DPS phase, be sure to combine Rouse with Whispering Dawn for added AOE HOT incase your DPS derp it up by accident.
