Why does SCH do more AoE DPS than SMN?

SCH AoE Advantages:

-Way more MP than SMN
-Shadow Flare, Miasma 2, Miasma, Bio, and Bio 2 all do slightly more damage through Cleric Stance than a similar geared SMN
-Has a fourth single target DoT, though it cannot be Baned can be manually spread for more AoE damage.

SMN AoE Advantages:
-Can do large AoE once every 5 minutes
-Can contagion the first set of dots?

You're forgetting Aerial slash. It has a recast time of 30 seconds and does 90 potency AoE damage. :/ I'm also not sure how you've come to the conclusion that SCH CS DoTs do more than SMN DoTs, Care to post numbers from tests that you've run?

Cleric Stance swaps int and mnd ratings. At similar gear levels, SCH and SMN have comparative INT and MND. Cleric Stance adds an additional 10% damage done by offensive spells. It's this 10% that pushes SCH dots past SMN dots.

Go test yourself, find a sch and a smn with same gear level and get them both to DoT up a dummy. The SCH DoTs will do way more damage than the summoner dots.

Cleric Stance boosts your magic attack potency by 20% (or 10% I forget). So yes, equal ilvl Scholar and Summoner, the Scholar dots will tick for more

Garuda Egi doens`t do enough AoE damage to outdo the single fact that SCH gets an additional DoT they can apply to multiple targets between Banes. Add in the fact that their shadow flare, miasma 2, miasma, bio and bio 2 all do more damage and SCH has the advantage in AoE damage.

Single target, totally different story obviously.

Raging strikes > Bio II > Masma > Bio I > Miasma II + Rouse > Spur > Enkindle and you have upwards 500-600 dps in aoe.

SCH can't touch that.

With buffs such as Raging Strike, Rouse, and Spur SMN is capable of doing more AOE damage than SCH. As far as consistent high sustain aoe dps, SCH is up there.
