How to get Chocobo feed?

Hey there everyone.

Been playing for a while now and I've finally decided to start using the stables so as to level up my chocobo. I was wondering how to get food for my chocobo. Specifically Krakka Root, but also others as well. I know I could buy it from the market boards but I'm looking to get it myself. Can I buy it from a specific NPC? Can I get it from Gathering? Is available from Gardening?

Also feel free to put in how to get some of the other chocobo feeds.

Krakka root can only be grown via gardening, so you will either have to purchase it from the Market Boards or grow it for yourself.

Do the Christmas dailies, right now, you can get thavnarion onion from the premium bag, and if you're legacy you can do this with a bunch of low level characters on your server.. sell and buy what you need.
