    Echatl Smithing Gloves - Echatl Beast Tribe Quest QoL

    Heya! So I just found out the Echatl Smithing Gloves do not count as the appropriate gear piece for doing Ixal quests.

    Why not? They share the same gear design with the Echatl Wristgloves, they're both named "Echatl", they're both gloves, they're both acquired from the Ixali...

    Yeah it's pretty stupid. i mean in order to get them you had to rank up in those quests. why do i need to waste one more inv space. :T

    Both should be programmed to Work

    It isn't very hard to program an either/or, and I think most people in the game WANT the better gloves to fulfill that purpose. They aren't as good as material melded Artisan HQ I've heard, but they are very good gloves and the game would be better if they worked like the low level versions for those quests.

    I don't even see ANY reason of needing to use a specific piece of gear for the dailies: You already get the "facilities" buff/debuff on you so why do we need to put those on?

    I'm pretty sure its the boost associated with the gloves. The default ones have no stats, but the ones that cost Oaknots do...

    It is game lore and that is that. Beast Tribe crafts were made in mind to test skill, hence the different facilities and to discourage those who are lazy and expect to be entitled to macro all their crafts.

    tbh this is not a QoL issue, I clear all 6 quests everyday and have very few overmelds, you must not have cross-class abilities or are crafting with multiple facilities active.

    I understand using Ehcatl gloves in general. But one would think that, gloves with a very similar name, the exact same design, and earned through the Beast Tribe quests would supplement the default.

    I'm not asking to do away with the use of the Ehcatl gloves so everyone can use overmelded Artisan Gloves instead. Just to use gloves I earned in the Ixali quests to do more Ixali quests. A reward for working so hard to get the highest reputation rank.
