    resource for BiS gear/materia?

Hello all, I'm a full 3-star all crafts and just now breaking into 4-star crafting. I just got my Chantico Supra this morning and plan on making CUL my first 4-star crafter. Is there a resource (thread or website) that lists the BiS gear and what materia you need melded to it to max the caps necessary for 4-star crafting? Thanks!!

You know what's so overpowered in this game, that they just HAD to leave out?
    -Buffing during cutscenes.
    -Pets receiving the Protect buff.
-A blacklist with more than a 200 player capacity.
-Filtering the flying text for your own numbers.
-A better way to organize and sort through your macros.

If you cap all the gear shared across jobs and have the supra, you need +31 craftsmanship and +3 control combined from body and offhand to attempt 4 stars. +33 craftsmanship lets you do a different progress rotation, PbP > 2xRS > 2xCSII

You're talking about having all of my old 3-star crafting setup all mex melded, right? I do have everything max melded. So you're saying I need the above stats spread out through the new crafting gear and off-hand in order to do 4-star crafting? I plan on getting the new gear first and max capping all of it. That leaves me with the new off-hand. What would I need to place in the off-hand if I have all of the new gear, stat-capped? Thanks!

If you're already max melded with artisan armor, you'll be here. All you will need is 15 (17) craftsmanship to attempt 4 stars, and any craftsmanship past that is currently useless, unless there's a progress rotation I'm unaware of. 3 CP on top of that can help at times, any extra control give a tiny boost.

If you're fully melded in 2.3 gear, the FC buffs will get you there until you make your artisan gear.

One thing I wanted to ask, how did you get the BiS materia to show up on that site? Did you do that manually or did you use the BiS solver? When I try the BiS solver, it just shows the best gear, it doesn't do the melds for me.

Click on the line where the materia, the popup screen shows caps for each stat, and you can select which materia to add manually. BiS solver there only works with materia already selected for crafted items.

Okay I have all of the new BiS gear and am fully-melded, except for the off-hand. I wanted to ask you, how do you suggest melding the off-hand? I know you said I'll need 15-17 Craftsmanship in order to do 4-star, and extra CP is always nice, but just kind of wanted to hear how you actually suggest melding it. Thanks for all your help!

If you're just doing one job and want the show off item, Craft IV > Craft IV/Control IV > CP III/CraftIII.

If you're doing all 8 and want to save several million gil, and you're fine with a tool that's only 99% as good as the show off piece, Craft IV > CPIII/CraftIII > Craft I > Craft I
