I agree, nothing would change. Besides, as i understand, all the guys who made the great final fantasies are gone now.

Kazuhiko Aoki Still works there if I understand right.
Takashi Tokita Is head of D7 at SE
Hiroyuki Ito still works there
Yoshinori Kitase Is a Manager of PD1 at SE
Tetsuya Nomura, Kazushige Nojima, and Yusuke Naora are all working on the FFXIII Games
Shinji Hashimoto is still there.
Toshiyuki Itahana I believe is still there.

Besides Sakaguchi, who exactly are you missing?
