It makes me cringe. I'm trying to heal and just seeing random colors. What does it all mean?!?!?

Do you mean the colors character names display in?
Members of your alliance are the same as in any alliance-based content; Blue for characters in your immediate party, and green for members of the other two parties in the alliance.
It might be different depending on your GC alliance, but as a Flame, the default colorscheme has enemies allied with the Twin Adders set to display in yellow, and Maelstrom in red. If you don't like these colors for some reason, there's an option to change them somewhere in the character settings menu.
You can easily edit the colors to display them how you wish pretty easily. As a healer that shouldn't matter much? Unless you don't use the party list?
I changed flames to pink :B
(Mostly because the dark blue was confusing being next to my light blue party members XD; )
The pinks are coming...
Is there anything I'm missing that tells you what players are LoS? The party window doesn't show it. Sometimes I'm trying to heal players on the other side of the map.
Plus it'd be nice to use an alliance window instead of healing the green names around me.
You can use the alliance window though.
you might have it deselected in your HUD window.
You can also click people in the alliance window and buff/heal them.
I use the Alliance window when I can. But for me it is easier to select the green names on my screen. The Alliance window does not have indicators for who is within range either. That's what I would like.
