Several people in this thread are laughable.

The relic is probably the most balanced content we have all around as it virtually taps into every aspect of the game to get which SE was quite smart to do since there is no general consensus on how the quests should be done. Also is potentially the strongest weapon every few patches, that actually didn't require hrs of practice in end-game content that requires scheduling for most, and many hrs making slow progress.

GRINDY : Players complain its "too long", "too much grind", "not enough time to play this game, game is not my life"

CHALLENGING : Top players clear it; Mediocre players complain "it's too difficult", "locked out content"

NO CHALLENGE / GRIND : "Weapon is too accessible", "everyone has one", "too easy to obtain", "no value"

RNG is the best method for the relic all around as it balances the playing field for everyone. This is coming from someone who rather dislikes RNG due to end game raiding drop nonsense.

I'm glad SE refuses to listen to any single group on the relic quest line and continues to go different avenues with each step. Too much entitled people feel the game should be handed to them on silver platter with little work just cause they "pay" for it. You give an insult identifying as a casual and give a bad name to true casuals that simply play the game less often but work for their items.
