Speaking of this whole redesign thing, I'm a bit worried/skeptical. I mean, are they going to completely redesign the areas with no copy-pasta, as in make them seem more natural and welcoming like XI? Or are they going to just simply move some things around and add a few landmarks here and there? The latter would be extremely lame.

I feel that wherever they do, they need to apply it to the first 30 seconds of exiting a city otherwise they will get a ton of people who just don't care enough to venture further to see what has changed. If they plan on giving zones more of a transition into new climate, rather than just the same terrain throughout zone into completely different zone, then i think it will succeed. I think it will be March 2012 before we see anything as drastic as that but i do believe that it is there plan to vary the zone in order for a smooth transition from zone to zone. I can't remember where i read that though.

I would love to see the new world map as soon as it has been finalised though. I heard that it is going to include ALL of the continents and not just the one that Eorzea is in.
