    are Monks still the top ST dps?

    My buddy and I were trying to figure out who would pull out the most dps now that goons have been buffed.

    edit: ST meaning single target, not Syrcus tower

    Just did some parsing with my statics MNK.

    I'm i124 and he is i129 (Both i130 weapons)

    I plateau at around 555-560 on a test dummy with no food/pots/party buff.

    He plateaus at around 570-575 with the same conditions.

    No DRG to test this with.

    I think it is important to note that Ninja increases the party's dps by roughly 1.6% maybe less, and drg increases a BRD dps by 7.5% or so. BLM is also effected by party buffs more (Selene and Foe) which catches them up in damage in raid scenarios.
