Getting a lot of lag issues

I've been getting a lot of lag ever since I started playing a few days ago, and I'm not sure why. I can play the game perfectly fine when I first start it up, but after playing it for an extended period the signs really start to show. I see players skipping along the map, constantly running and stopping. NPC dialogue appears late (a few seconds later at times) when I click on them to talk, and when I'm in battles the enemies and my character stop moving from time to time. I've even had instances where logging out was delayed because of the lag too.

When I exit out of the game and come back to it later it runs perfectly fine before the lag sets in, and I'm getting a good 60 fps while on standard desktop in the graphics settings.

Not just you, a lot of people. I just got 90k'd 3 times in a row with random 10102s here and there, which hasn't happened to me in a long long time.

I'm curious, have you been playing late into the evening? I noticed that I have little to no issues when I'm playing later into the evening onto the early morning. Also 90k'd? I'm not very computer savvy, so I'm not quite sure what you meant by that.

90k = 90000 error. Like 90002, which is lost connection to server.

I have been having a lot of issues the last few weeks. Maybe the last month. I will be fighting and everything but me will stop. Then everything fast forwards to catch up. A huge problem because a couple times the monsters will be attacking me and when it decides to catch up, I die. Just yesterday my wife and I were online and we both got 90k'd at the exact same time. I thought maybe it was us, but other people are having issues too. I heard there were DDoS attacks on the servers causing congestion and network issues.
