    Calm down, they actually just wanted you to play their game!
    You weren't banned for botting but for being AFK which is a bad thing to do, because you should play.
    Very soon SE will secretly install devices in our chairs (or whatever you sit on while playing) that tie us onto it and even release electricity whenever you are about to fall asleep or try to stop playing for any reason.
    The only way to stop them from brzzzzing you is by doing something ingame every 5 seconds, like walking one step, talking in the chat window, fighting and using skills, etc.
    It will be like a giant Skinner Box and we'll all be conditioned to play FFXIV to be happy

    I want to apologise there was many helpful people here.


    Thing is it should not have happened. Simple as that.

    I bought the CD at Eb Games, Cd key worked on second try first wasn't caps. Nobody even knows i'm playing this game as far as i'm aware.

    I'm just going to assume thier "IP block" thing glitched on me. Because i really don't have a clue.

    All i got was that message with the fact i coudn't log in. "Your account has been suspended pending an investigation" Or something like that. Please check your mailbox or CALL SUPPORT OVER THE PHONE. I'm french canadian i can type an ok english but i can not imagine me trying to talk, in english, to someone who's prolly never even heared french in his whole life. Not to mention the wait times, the time zones and the cell phone minutes because i don't have a landline.

    So i'm playing again.

    You do know the game is fully supported in French and they have French speaking customer support reps dont you. You are now assuming that all the reps speak only English which is not the fact, the customer support reps speak English, Japanese, German and French, I believe to be a customer support rep you have to be bilingual in these languages, I know thats what they require to be a GM for FFXI, (I was gonna apply to be a GM but I couldnt because I only speak English fluantly)
