Monk Novus materia optimization advice

I've been out for a little while but came back around Ninja time, and I'm getting close to starting Novus for Monk and I could use a little advice on materia and how much of what I should be using.

The few monks with Novus/Nexus I've seen both have majority det and crit with around 10 acc. Is that the right way to go? Or would a det+acc build be better down the long run? I understand acc, det, and crit are great stats to have so I'm a little confused on how to set myself up for the long run with relics. Advice for my troubled mind would be greatly appreciated.

Same answer for any DPS that isn't BLM: Crit/Det until your bank breaks down and cries. Fill any gaps you can't afford with Acc. . .
