It usually switches when you're routing through a different IP address from one login to another...I like it kinda thwarts hackers tbh or helps tone it down

So everytime I rotate my DNS and obtain new ips this is gonna happen? I am not a fan of this. If there is a reason I will cancel my subscription, this is it. If that is the case, I will be forced to reset my password every 4 days and I will not do that shit.

Because there is no choice unless you pay extra to have a static IP address. It's how consumer internet works. Every time you restart your modem/modem refreshes the DNS cache it reconnects and not necessarily to the same DNS.
OP just get a software token and keep the reset password in a secure spot.
I know how it works but wouldn't the obvious solution be to just leave the modem on 24/7? An average modem like a Virgin Media SuperHub for example draws 13W at max which, in the UK at least, equates to about £20 a year... hardly breaking the bank if it is mostly about energy costs that's the issue in this thread.
So now I gotta create a new 16 character string password cause retards on the internet need their hands held because they don't know shit about security. Great.
