Any technical guys have any advice? PS4 install question

Alright, I got a PS4 for christmas and I gotta say nothing but a pain in the butt, haha. The PSN down thing is fine I played offline. No worries there, crap happens.

Anyway, this is a synopsis of what happened:

1. Wanted to play FFXIV on PS4 with the same account and character, so I got a new copy to retain functionality on PS3 also.
2. Attempted install of FFXIV using the code in the case, went to logon with my FF credentials, rejected. Did not know you have to start over with a new account if you
want to play on both
3. Went to do PS transfer from the 3 to the 4, followed steps online
4. Code rejected as a FFXIV code has already been used
5. Displays on my account as "I am playing on PS4" when in fact I am not. Because now I cant input the transfer code at all.
6. Can't play on either system.
7. I uninstalled completely and tried just the transfer, but as the codes can only be used once, I'm f*****
8. Submitted a ticket to FFXIV
9. That transfer code will probably expire, and yet I'm left wondering why I can still logon with my PC using the same credentials when I cannot do so with the two
Playstations. Nowhere did it say that it would not work. Am I missing something?

Any advice or anything I can do on my end, or just wait?
