Got it when I selected it from the character creation screen and logged in for the first time :O

I was going to say this very same response until I saw yours. Anyway, got mine when I logged in for the first time and made a character.

Arcturius had a scarless face as he trampled the evils of eorzea. There was only one enemy that gave him a challenge. And that was Nael Dues Darnus. Right before she fell to Arc and his comrades Nael gave Arc a gift he could never get rid of. He carries these scars so all will know what he had accomplished. And he still fights to protect eorzea, the land he loves so dearly.

L'rydia's village was mostly destroyed in the Calamity, and she was injured while trying to rescue family in the chaos. The scars across her cheeks are the only lasting (physical) signs of the injuries she sustained. They're mostly hidden by the way she wears her hair.
