Please Lift PSN Sign In

Sony wants people to pay for Playstation Plus. They can't get people to do that if they let people play their games online without checking their network.

They make exceptions for things like Netflix.

None of us know if SE has beseeched the team in charge of PSN and/or the Playstation systems, but, assuming that SE has done so, it's really out of their hands in regards to that decision.

Though, a couple of days ago a friend had asked how long the PSN would be down. It was more of a metaphorical question but I had jokingly replied with the statement of the PSN being down for about three months the last time it was hacked a few years ago. I'm hoping that doesn't become true.

Have you to link your PSN account to your Netflix account during the first registry?

on that note you also have to link your PSN account to your SE Account(the mogstation) upon registering it.
so if that is all netflix needed to bypass logging into PSN then SE should be able to do the same so long as sony doesn't have some stinker of a rule against it.

What would be the point of that?

The app was previously downloaded from the PSN store & I would log in with my Netflix account info. Regardless, Netflix was working perfectly during the PSN outage. Bits are bits, data is data... FFXIV should work just the same as Netflix.

There is no logical reason anyone would argue against SE & Sony coming to an agreement similar to Netflix. Unless you're trolling...

This is so true, like back at release of 2.0 being on PC didn't help with not being able to log in.

But yet if SE gets ddos'd then everyones affected but if sony gets ddos'd like what happened this week then for the GLORIOUS PC MASTER RACE....... not a single problem was had those days! :3

If at all possible please get the PSN sign on lifted so we can sign into the game without having to sign into the the PSN Network.

Possible technically, but not legally. There's no way Sony would ever let them.
