    DF Mash Up

    So I was thinking, we need something to spice up old content and make it fun, so heres an idea: How about a DF mash-up? Now, before you say,"Hey idiot, we have that already..called DF, durp". I mean something more fun. Maybe they can add where we can do a random mash-up of dungeons, back to back without rest. For example: When you cue DF mash-up, when duty starts you might be in, lets say Satasha. You go through Satasha to the end, but when you kill boss, teleporter appears. Hit teleporter, you are now in Stone Vigil, you go through that. Maybe max of 2 or 3 different duties but you get a huge daily reward at end. Or my other idea: Just fight bosses, no mobs. Just back to back like final bosses from 3 random dungeons, primals, etc. What do you guys think?

    I think it'd be something else for DPS to bitch about long queues for.

    Don't get me wrong, I like the idea but several random duties back to back... let's just say that I'd do it if i could queue in a premade with friends. Otherwise I'd just sit in the DPS queue for it and craft while I waited.

    I actually think it would make queue times better. You are in instances longer, plus not everyone would do the DF mashup. So you have the regular df and the df mashup. double the amount of queues. And to fight all bosses back to back for different bonuses/rewards/gear/etc. would be fun. Maybe even have something that rewards you for fastest completion, no deaths, random stuff like when dungeon queues, have an extra objective for the dungeon that nets extra exp/gil/better drop rates, etc. Like 3 back to back boss fights. First fight, satasha. Beat boss without hitting bubbles for extra tomes, then you go to Aurum Vale: Beat Boss with at least 2 stacks on every party member, etc. Add challenges to duties

    Mmm. Even if the amount of tanks and DPS in the queue stayed static, the fact that the duties would be 3-4 times as long as a normal duty would basically dictate that there would be a longer wait in queue. I don't think they'd stay static either; most people would just queue DPS for it instead of being stuck tanking several duties back to back for the same party. At least when you get one bad party (and I don't even mean abusive bad, could just be low dps or whatever), you can tell yourself that it's just for one dungeon and truck on through it. If you're stuck with that same party for several duties in a row, well... I can't see many people wanting to tank (or heal) that.

    True, but thats why i think they could add really good daily rewards to the mode. Something that makes people say, well, party isnt going like i planned, but if i complete the duty, even if time runs out, I would get more/better rewards than just quitting duty. Hell, make it so if you don't finish, you get a penalty. I don't understand the whole quitting thing. People think everything has to go perfect in their perspective to make it good. I think SE should reward people more for finishing duty. especially if you are lvl sync. It would allow players to help more knowing that even if they don't succeed, they get something from it.

    I rather there'd be daily challenges that give additional tomes and whatnot, like do a duty with 3 DPS and a healer.

    That sounds like an amazing way to exclude players based on their Role preference.
    Sorry Tank, you can't do this because you don't enjoy DPSing. We also just want to burden the healer.

    I agree with random challenges, but ones that exclude roles sounds absolutely terrible.
