They should set something up to where we can make ONE and ONE ONLY custom title. i think it would be awesome if everyone had a unique title to there account. What are everyone else's thoughts?

would be great for role-play, heck could even make it a walking minstrel quest, having to run about in a specific costume doing certain things for the people of eorzea to recognise you as that title!

Being able to make a custom title would render all other titles pointless though. Why do an achievement to unlock a rare title when you can just give yourself the same title using the custom one?

It should not be too difficult to create a blacklist. I live more in fear of titles with dicks and vaginas. The Internet has already repeatedly demonstrated his creativity in how you can make allusions to it.

well thats just its it would be nice to have a unique title that nobody else has, it is the same reason you can create your own character, so that you have something that nobody else has. and if it is offensive then it can be reported and the title gets erased and they dont get to make another, hense the reason it being account wide so it affects any character you make under that account name.

And besides i go through titles almost every other day and if i don't its because i forget about it until i start reading somebody else's.

Explain how third party add-ons would let you create titles others can see? SE is very, VERY skittish about add-ons after the catastrophe that hit FFXI

I would like this just so I could officially give myself the "Autarch of the Flames" title, but at the same time, I understand why this would not ever happen. Less for the lewd jokes as the profanity filter would take care of most and more for the rarer titles being not-so-rare anymore.
