    Craft Customization

    I was already excited for all the new things coming in 1.19 and 1.20, but as soon as i read this:

    Through the new recipes, Disciples of the Hand will be able to customize gear with different attributes. Different colors will be applied to the same graphics to indicate the class for which a certain piece of equipment has been optimized. Samples to be posted on the forums.
    I got incrediexcited!!! This will definitely bring emphasis on DoH classes and I am personally very excited for this. Now I just want to know a little more about it.

    1. To what extent are things customizable? Do crafters get to choose the attributes and is there a lot to choose from? Or is it random (which I'm cool with too)? Random will give the feeling of rarity to gear. From what I can tell, certain recipes lead to certain attributes. But does that mean there will be a lot to choose from, or like 2 for each specific gear?

    2. Does the term "attribute" mean things like elemntal resistance and hp+, or are things like def and str variable too?

    3. Will there be a crafter's tag for customized gear? Like Kupo Storaifo's Bronze Haubergon? (this sounds more like a suggestion but I would personally like to have some sort of sig on the gear i make)

    4. Class colors? Sweet.

    1. I think that's the Materia system? If it is then you can choose which stat to increase through which Materia to use.

    4. Not class colour, they just make for example stat green when you're optimised to wear, red when you're not optimised because of under-ranked and not right class, yellow when you have the right rank but not right class.

    Oh ok. I read it as each class having a dedicated color. I read somewhere that right now each color shows the general rank for that gear but they were gonna change it. guess not. =P

    If it is the materia system, wouldn't that mean you have to add the materia in with the rest of the recipe? I thought it was gonna be slot based, but I dont know.
