Final Fantasy XI sub

Yeah, but unless something has changed in the last year your account is blocked from posting if you're not actively paying for the game.

If you can get an actual copy of the game to install, it would probably be best.

I and a friend have had problems installing ffxi through steam. I don't remember exactly how I got it to work but it was a pain to launch game because it would crash POL due to steam having to start up first. I think I had to move the folder outside of the steam folder or something like that.

FFXI has always had one of the most draconian, byzantine, and by this time archaic client and installation systems i have ever seen in my 14+ years of playing MMOs.
Plus there's the very strict method for accounts they had back in the day that means i have literally nothing to return to despite buying the game twice...

Talking about FFXI, it really needs a discount. At least while playing 14. I would love to hang around in 11 sometimes, but I can not justify paying more for 11 than I do for 14.
