Blacksmith Guild Reward Bug

I just handed in level 1 Blacksmith Guild Task: 1 bronze culinary knife blade, and recieved the wrong reward.

Expected reward: 2,000gil reward promised by NPC (Bodenolf)
Recieved Reward: 100 wind shards and 200 smithing skill points

As far as I know the NPC never says you will definitely get THAT reward, it just says you "may for example get this reward".
So you may get the one the NPC posed as an example, or something totally different.

Thanks for reply Atoli. I do see your point, but if that's the case the NPC dialogue seems a bit misleading. I'll post as a bug for now as suggested by Emdub, and see what happens.

Steps:
1. Create bronze culinary knife blade
2. Talk to Bodenolf NPC, and Select Guild Tasks as topic of conversation
3. Select Blacksmiths Guild
4. Select level 1~
5. Hand in 1 bronze culinary knife blade
6. Recieve incorrect reward.

Expected reward: 2,000gil reward promised by NPC (Bodenolf)
Recieved Reward: 100 wind shards and 200 smithing skill points

note. On the forum someone pointed out this may not be a bug, as the NPC suggests a specific reward, but does not guaruntee it. However, if this is the case I find the NPC dialogue very confusing and misleading.
