I saw this article awhile back and after seeing recent Letter from the Producer from Mr. Yoshida. I was curious if SE invested in any of these for their employee's.

Or if anybody there had seen them?

From the sounds of things they could really use them to stay cool!

$96... someone should buy one for yoshi so there are no more letter delays caused by fevers. It is a little funny seeing puffy jackets worn indoors that keep you cooler instead of warmer.

Its actually a really smart idea. They say that they are battery powered. But I think, from that video that I saw one that was USB powered!

Imagine plugging into a PC that you work at all day to power the fan in your shirt! lol

And it's Green or well... greener than a Air Conditioner because it uses far far less power. It's not chilled air, but it's moving air around your body.

Imagine if they made one that cooled air! lol

I agree! At this point, they're doing a good enough job on the game that they deserve them!

They can work naked for all I care. I'm sure that would be beneficial on multiple levels. Neat invention though, but who wants to look like a Michelin-man most of the time?

Well it's not a matter of fashion, per say. It has more to do with the fact that AC just isn't an option with their energy conservation. So you either walk around dealing with the heat or use portable solutions to keep cool. Like a desktop fan or this AC shirt! lol

Any of these options uses far less electricity than trying to run an AC unit to cool an entire building!
