with how slow they attack, echo, and regens, being stoned does almost nothing.

Er. I haven't seen a Renaud actually kill anyone since the changes went in, honestly. The first set of adds still wreck some face, though, so if Shriek or Voice gets the OT right as they have to pick up an add that can go south really quickly. I think the most memorable wipe I've had since the nerfs was a party with a newer person that didn't get behind the Renaud in time and Shrieked the entire party. We were on mumble kinda shrugging and saying "eh we got this anyway" and then Venomous Tail went out... yeahhhhh we died really really fast. xD

We did have another run where we purposely kept one of the BLMs frozen for about a straight minute and laughed hysterically the entire time, though. Even he was laughing, and cursing us out for chain freezing him. xD

If your group is panicking because of mechanics then they need to adjust their playing styles. The things that cause wipes more than anything else is panicking.
