PC player here: I vote for SE to unlink from PSN for the PS3/4 players.

And as a PS4 player I say thanks, this would be a solution and would allow us to still play when future attacks happen

i did get on this morning at 'quiet time' but i'm getting nothing again now.

Sad part is, now thanks to that fat fuck kim dotcom giving them shit to let off the Xbox Live DDoS they're going to expect the same from some one who plays on the playstation. They claim they're doing this to show both Microsoft and Sony they need to fix their security issues when in reality they're just fucking kids who run scripts and now get free shit to back off. I hope they all hang.

Nope his tweet only mentioned Xbox Live because he wanted to play Destiny.

Edit: I apologize he did mention PSN. But they're still attacking psn.

It was back to normal for a short period of time but went down again. So either everyone and their grandma tried to login to PSN and caused something similar and it went down again or the more likely case they were hit again by a DDoS. I was briefly able to get on the PSN through my vita to try and download the Hanayamata game but I was error coded out when I tried to enter a PSN card to add the required funds and haven't been able to get back on since.

I must have missed that part. But it makes sense now... I was wondering why some of LS was tweeting about it still.
