I got past the error code and finally managed to get in game! Don't know how many times I tried to do this but looks like you just need the luck on your side.

Manged to get on a couple of hours ago, still ok. JP psn.

I managed to log into PSN and after a few attempts spamming the launcher got into FFXIV. Never logging out again!

I still can't access FFXIV ARR even though I can access my other games via PSN, still can't tend to my crops, and I am still going to be furious at SE for the unnecessary loss of valuable resources I worked hard for if they die before I can log in and water them. Since I can access other online games via PSN, and since FFXIV ARR requires my user ID and password anyway to log in, why is this an issue? I should be able to log in right now, having to launch the application, getting an error message that requires me to restart it, and repeat over and over is a pain.

same here, I log on PSN without launching FFxiv, it keeps showing (NP-36147-1) error code.

Finally have made it back on and i am getting my fix

It seems to be alternating between telling me the server connection was lost and the network is undergoing maintenance.
