Gear and player comfortability.
Our PLD stays Sword Oath and our SCH full time DPS. We push 3 Bennu's though and we have gotten lucky with Tank gear. While it is a known fact that in tank stances WAR does more damage, PLD is an overall better choice for MT because of mitigation and healer DPS. Only point I am trying to refute is that WAR as the tank vs PLD as the tank has little to no impactful difference and in most cases PLD will be the better choice for MTing for both DPS and safety reasons.
Carry on if you are pushing 3 bennu! We have had shit for luck with tank drops....0 left side drops in all 7? weeks lol....the raid is giving tanks carbonfiber out of pity at this point.
I'd say this can be summed up pretty neatly by saying:
Undergeared: PLD = MT as much as possible for flexibility purposes with WAR OT rotations and quick-reaction, low planning DMG mitigation.
Appropriately Geared: WAR = MT as much as possible to allow for PLD to sword oath DPS and WAR to use their offensive CDs to push DPS while tanking, far beyond what a PLD can do while tanking.
Overgeared: Get creative with whatever crazy stuff you wanna do. No tank stances, full str accessories, 1 tank, 1 healer, whatever works with the fight.
I can agree with this!I'd say this can be summed up pretty neatly by saying:

but im gearing for more str, so i prolly wont MT. i prolly will if they release new crafted i110 rings
Hopefully they don't go overboard with the vertical progression and make raid level gear either i150 or i160, with the entry level gear being Level 60 requirement and i140.
That's probably how it's going to be. Plus with 3 months to gear up the left side and weapons, you will be able to get away with STR accessories for all content, until 3.0 comes out.
you can 9 skill berserk at 365. more is for the sake of leniency and not having to time it too much. 390+ is autopilot level if you use a filler oGCD and then berserk (swing>ir+zerk>9 skills for example)
I cannot for the life of me hit that last storm's eye if I go stuff > heavy > unchain > maim > berzerk > eye > bb combo > fracture > heavy > beast > maim > eye with 392 skill speed, even at my fc house's training dummy. Is it really my latency? Playing at 280-320. What's my option? Try for more skill speed or just deal with 8 hit berserk?
Can confirm, I am able to do it at 372 SkS but there is a good chance that it may not happen so yeah, 390 is more than ideal.
