Eorzea's Next Top Model - Cycle 3 Round 8

Welcome back, ENTM fans! Last week was a disturbin' round! It demanded a sacrifice o' two models, an' those were Epsil an' Kaiyoko. We're down to jus' ten left now...who will be leavin' the contest this week? But first, let's get t'know one o' our survivors a lil' better!

Tyriont: Thanks for th'time, Sakuraya! Let's start out by hearin' any story behind your name.

Sakuraya: I thought it was a lovey name when I saw a character from a fandom with the name. Some think my first name is Sakuraya - it's actually Kai Sakuraya~! it is written with surname first, then given name. Though people call me Saku and Kai, which I like both!

Kai has been a part of me for a very long time, and I love it... we are even thinking of naming our child Kai when they are born.

Tyriont: Ain't that sweet? Next up, what is it y'do when you ain't modellin'?

Sakuraya: When I am not modeling I tend to help the members in my Free Company and other FC and LS's I'm friends with~! We love to have fun, and do a bunch of random things... I also love to level up my Chocobo, Tsu. He's 13! I also love to go out and do things with my partner in game, we are getting married soon. :3

Tyriont: Another one bitten by th'marriage fever I see. Don't understand th'appeal myself...anyways! What made you choose t'take part in th'contest?

Sakuraya: I had followed it since the first Cycle, but I don't think I really started voting until the 2nd cycle. It looked like people were having a lot of fun, making friends etc... and I wanted to try it out as well.

I'm just here for the fun and to make some new friends~! I love the ones I have already made who are on my server, and the other nice people that are part of this as well!! :3

Tyriont: Glad t'hear it! Now let's go from love t'hate...where d'you hate most in all o'Eorzea?

Sakuraya: Aurum Vale... I don't know why I dislike that place so much but I do. I'll go in to help people, but not without a bit of fussing first. Heehee~! But I avoid it as much as I can.

Tyriont: Popular choice that one, I reckon. Next up, your story in th'form of a limerick. Go!

Sakuraya: There once was a kitty named Kai,
She likes BLaM'ing and make things die
Gridania’s her home
She won’t ever roam.
Because all of her mates are nearby!

Sakuraya: I sing as well, heehee~! I have been told I have a lovely voice, though I don't like to listen to myself. :3

As the models get widdled down, I'll have to start nitpick more. >w>

Male
1. Flare Anderfel: Very nice posing, expression, and use of extras. This is a cute picture with a story. My only nitpick is that i wish we were a wee bit more zoomed in to your group.
2. Jinx Fireboot: Jinx, you are the King of Lighting! Your lighting is superb in this shot. Your composition and play with depth is also nice here too. I just wish you posed and/or emoted a little more here.

Female
1. Adeline Urusa: I love that this is a sort of pseudo-cosplay. You're posing, angels, and composition are nice too, creating a story. The only thing I would have liked to have seen was a little difference in the lighting between the foreground and background.
2. Rhaya Relanah: I don't know if this fits the theme of the challenge as much as it should but I like this shot. You're lighting is great, I like how close we are to you and that you take up most of the page, and what little bit of background we see is interesting. I love how you take risks with your expression in your shots.

3. Eirwen Mackenzie: Your pose, expression, and angles are stop on here! I just wish you were a bit more to the left and that the lighting on you was a little brighter.
4. Sakuraya Kai: Your pose and angles are nice here. I just wish there was a little more emotion on your face. Also, this has nothing to do with you, but I wish we could take minions into dungeons because this shot would have greatly appreciated the sun minion. >3>
5. Iris Dawnshade: Your pose and angles are nice but I wish you were on the other side of the picture, my eye follows were you are looking, which is the sides of Imgur... I would have also liked a little more diffrence in the lighting between the foreground and background.

3. Adam Flynmyn: One of my earlier critiques about you complained that I couldn't see your face because you were facing away from the camera but in this shot, it works! The effect and pose are interesting. I only wish that you were darker in this shot, to sort of silhouette and help differentiate you from the rest of the picture.
4. Aiden Weaver: The lighting on your face is uber bright and with that expression on your character's face, it look like they're being blinded. >o> Your composition and angles are nice though and the rest of the picture is light nicely.
5. Marik Destiel: Your posing and angles are nice but I wish you weren't so centered in this picture and that you had a bit more light on you. >3>

Adam - I usually like to see a model's face but i can tell, even from behind, you have a shocked/amazed expression - as would anyone seeing something like that! Great composition.
Flare - LOVE it, like a lil bunch of comical (and adorable) Dwarves scrambling to reach the treasures. #Lalaproblems
