Currently I'm wearing:
The last resort: +36 crit
Optics Head Piece / Melded neck: =12 crit
Daystar Robe / Ha ears
Ironworks Gloves / Dreadwyrm wrist
Dreadwyrm Tonbans / Ramuh Ring
Poetic Boots / Poetics ring
Ironworks Belt
My crit with food is around 570-578ish
Almost 1/4 aldos is a crit for me which is good, but does crit scale with raid tiers ,because even at the i110 SCH I ran for the longest for pre 2.4 I felt I crit more with my aldo. Crit around 520 felt the same as crit now even the rate. The actual numbers are higher( I feel this is more so my 612 MND) I crit a 2500 aldo in T12 the other night but the rate I crit is the same. Does crit actually raise the rate or the # ? Will there ever be a point that a aldo crit is almost certain ? Considering majority of our job is surrounded around that big mitigation
Eos vs Selene Question:
Just a simple one: I've been SCH since the T5 days and I've only ever ran Selene if there is a caster in the group simply because I felt it benefit them more than anyone. The Eos argument is simple.... Rouse+Whispering Dawn is great off one min GCD easily giving a 400-500 HoT and then after another minute a Fey Illumination pushes that to 700-800 range not including potential crits. Though beneficial to me and the WHM in the group the melee always stress(Not my static only when I pug) the need for Selene I was even booted for not using her, is it that necessary ? I used Selene in a T11 clear about a week ago, and the numbers we're not off the charts either usually resulting in a minimal increase in dps or helping with a quick heal or two ....so why the stress?
Question 3 .....We all are thinking this how will AST fit into our seemingly perfect Healing Duo. I for one think that it will oust one of the jobs seeing how top end raiders oust all the jobs that aren't in the perfect scenario(though you can work any job into a situation pending the player) Where does AST fit in ? We know nothing of the job and I've played no past FF (noob) so I don't even know where the bases would come from. We have the perfect fit SCH mitigate some of the damage and WHM top us back off simple(more to it but thats the meat and potatoes of it). What do you think AST will specialize in Aoe or Single target.....Mitigation or what ? I feel whatever it is it will have to do one thing better than the current classes or it will be of no value and if it does that one thing better with a slightly better utility it will oust said job.
Question 4: New Skills 3.0
I totally dislike the whole lets think of dumb skills to put on our fav classes but I couldn't help but think of the new skills and abilities we'd be obtaining in expansion , and though of a few adjustments myself.Post some of yours
*1- A stronger Sacred Soil: ATM it works fine for what it is I normally top a Sacred soil off with a succor for extra mitigation and the guaranteed 10% for the party is like a AOE SS for about 10 secs, but I'd like to see it bring more to the table. The WHM gets 20% SS (which I think should go to the King of Mitigation but whatever) and we get a 10% shield I say either buff the shield to 20% as a trait or extend the length of how long it last.
*2- Lustrate II: Don't get me wrong this move is Godly and one of the best healing moves in the game, but lets make it more aoe'ish (stolen idea , credit:Mr. Happy) I like the whole idea he had of it being a splash effect giving like a extra-200-300 hp to who ever is near the target, SCH lacks aoe ,we aren't suppose to do it well but hey lets give them just a small utility to handle a moment to lets say if the WHM were to fall etc etc
*A pet that mitigates: Yeah we have one that heals and one that buffs us but a SMN III would give us what the SMNs have which is a tank like pet....Yeah our pet won't be a tank but it'll buff the party like one i.e a mini aldo without the crit proc to go with it , raise for a pet would be awesome allowing us to continue to heal up the group, a smaller Sacred soil aoe the size of solar flare that stacks with our sacred soil if you won't give us the Sacred Soil II I dream of.
Also for our trait can we please get our extra :MND instead of INT like really they should have fixed this a long time ago sorta like the NIN/Bard Dex issue they make it mean something else for each class do that with INT/MND for SMN/SCH so that if I want to main a SCH and alt a SMN I can do so without having to respec
