Sorry, but I'm gonna have to disagree.

Frankly they need to be rushing everything right now. This is a patch, not a whole other game. It needs to be out quickly. FFXIV is rapidly falling by the wayside. It needs to be fixed, and it needs to be fixed quickly. I would much rather have a slightly glitchy patch that introduces a huge overhaul to the game than a pristine, flawless patch that takes a month longer.

The game as it stands is a glorified beta anyway. The people who are playing now are not going to leave because of some patch bugs. They need to start making the broad changes more quickly and dealing with the bugs as the community finds them, not waiting till they have a flawless patch. Speed and the gravity of changes are the 2 most important things right now.

You really think the game is dying? That's a joke there's more and more people everyday and the server's are packed.

I didn't say dying, I said falling by the wayside. There's a difference. The problem they face now is one of sustainability. Unless they increase numbers dramatically, and relatively quickly, FFXIV will not be economically viable. The longer it takes to improve and bring people back, the more money they lose. And if they take too long, the market will overrun them with new games. I don't know if you've seen the list of games coming out in the last 1/4 of this year, but it's pretty impressive. SE needs this to be a game that a lot of people want to play, quickly.

Also, I'm on the same server as you. If you think this is "packed" you're insane.
