Au Ra Naming Conventions Speculation Thread

They aren't Dravanian. Already been asked and answered.

We really have no one we can look to for hints as to what their names might be like except the race name itself.

Yugiri as mentioned has a Doman name, ie. eastern themed Hyur naming conventions.

Q1: Could you please tell us the naming conventions for the Au Ra?

A1: There are two clans: Au Ra Raen and Au Ra Xaela. Au Ra Raen have been closely related to the Domans for long time, so their names are somewhat Japanese-like. The Xaela on the other hand have led a nomadic lifestyle for some time, and they have a unique naming convention.

1. Raen -- has always had a close relationship with doma, as such have japanish names (probably where Yugiri comes from)
2. Xaela -- Are nomadic

And with this, food for thought: The Raen are the Light-horned Au Ra and the Xaela are the dark-horned.

Hence a bit of frustration over the vagueness of "they have a unique naming convention". I like the look of the dark horns better, so my Au Ra character is going to be a Xaela, but I still have no clue what sort of name he should have. I sure hope this teaser bit of info is followed soon by a more detailed Naming Conventions sticky post in the Lore forum.
