I'm all for adding functionality but point and click is pretty archaic these days and not needed IMO.

Not needed hah! Ok think about it this way then, when they would add click to move, together with 3 lines visibility of action bar (which is already confirmed) you simply could play FFXIV with just a standard mouse, nothing else!

This would create endless possibilities like playing FFXIV and at the same time talking through phone ( I know there is bluetooth etc. but still), eating dinner and playing FFXIV... I'm joking don't do that it's stupid but just imagine drinking coffee at the office and killing evil squirrels at the same time

I can already do all of that with WASD controls :P
